Downtown Columbus, Ohio Engagement Session

Erin + Kevin

This session was like a breath of fresh air! Kevin and Erin are truly two of the kindest people I’ve had the pleasure of working with and I’ve been beyond excited to get them in front of my camera from the moment we sat down for our first consultation! They just radiate joy and their love for one another is so genuine and sweet.

We started the session off on the Scioto Mile Promenade in downtown Columbus where they used to spend time on the swings when they first started dating. I always love when couples choose intentional locations for their engagement sessions that have special meaning to them. We included their pup in some photos and she definitely loved the attention! I remember asking Kevin and Erin what they were most looking forward to for the wedding day and they both agreed it was the dance floor! They both love to dance and are looking forward to a big celebration with their family and friends. So, I was sure to bring my portable speaker and play some music— trust me when I say they didn’t miss a beat. The photos of them dancing together are my absolute favorite!

Following the photos at the swing we went across the Rich Street bridge to capture some photos looking back over the city. Columbus was showing off because the skyline from Genoa Park was absolutely beautiful!

Kevin and Erin are like so many had to reschedule their 2020 wedding, but I know it will all have been worth the wait!! I can’t wait to capture their big day this Saturday at The Boat House.
