Cam + Dung's Engagement Session at Amita Studio in Gahanna Ohio

CAM + DUNG

With the cooler months starting to really settle in, I wanted to share one of my favorite studio sessions that was done at Amita Studio in Gahanna, Ohio! This session eventually made it’s way outside but the studio shots are some of my favorite and always remind me that you can have beautiful photos without worrying about the weather.

I was truly obsessed with these two. They are having a traditional Vietnamese wedding so while I was bummed that I wouldn’t be there for the wedding day, I was grateful they picked me to capture this chapter before marriage. During the session they shared their plans for a traditional tea ceremony. This is the part of the wedding where the bride and groom’s families formally meet, the couple exchanges vows and rings, and the groom serves a type of green or chrysanthemum tea to show respect. It sounded like such an honorable tradition and I am excited for them to experience it for themselves.

After we laughed and danced in the airy studio space, we went outside to utilize the greenery down at the riverwalk. Everything about it felt romantic and fun, two words I would definitely use to describe the beautiful duo.

I am always in awe at what can be done at a studio and love that around Columbus we have so many great options. See below what we captured at Amita and if you’re wanting to make sure your winter photos aren’t reliant on the unstable midwest weather, let’s chat!
