A Classic Rotunda Wedding at the Ohio Statehouse

HOPE AND ISSAC

Hope and Issac’s wedding at the Ohio Statehouse in Downtown Columbus was simplistic and elegant in every way.

The details at the start of the day brought smiles to everyones. So many personal touches between the handkerchief or the little figurine that resembled their precious dog who couldn’t be there. The showstopper though was the attire. Hope’s satin ballgown with a fold-over neckline from Wendy’s Bridal paired perfectly with her bowed Loeffler Randall shoes in periwinkle. The pastel color palette carried into Isaac’s suit that was custom made in powdered pink.

The two looked absolutely stunning and the reaction Isaac had when seeing his bride for the first time proved it.

Going into the ceremony, guests were seated in a 360 fashion so that everyone truly got to take in the architecture of the rotunda and not miss a sight of the bride and groom. Whether it was the bridesmaids dresses or Isaac’s jacket, the weddings colors complimented the scene perfectly.

After the first kiss as husband and wife, we explored the grounds and soaked in the golden sun. During that time guests were then sent into the stunning atrium where columns of marble and natural light filed the space. Luminary Productions elevated this atmosphere with pops of red. As an ode to Hope’s cultural roots more pops of red in the form of delicate tassels were at each place setting, spreading luck to everyone present.

Every moment of this day was so sweet, just like the beautiful cake created by Kuro Neko. It’s definitely one for the books.
