Set in the heart of downtown Columbus, the historic Ohio Statehouse provided the most romantic backdrop for this editorial shoot curated by The Atelier Gathering. Inspired by heirloom elegance and soaked in natural light, the scene created a sense of nostalgia and classic romance. The venue, lined with marble grandeur, balanced beautifully with the soft, intricate details of the tablescape.

The vision for the shoot was to honor timeless bridal traditions with a modern, whimsical twist.

Brought in from La Jeune Mariee, the model wore “Aphrodite” by Netta BenShabu, high-necked, delicately sheer, and embroidered lace gown. It that was the kind of piece that didn’t just photograph beautifully, but carried weight and presence. Paired with a cathedral-length veil that whispered across the marble floors, the look was regal yet approachable.

Her bouquet, designed by Frances Floral Design, tied it all together. A mix of fresh white ranunculus, ruffled tulips, cheerful yellow daffodils, and sculptural curly vines gave the arrangement both softness and structure, reflecting the historic-meets-modern aesthetic of the day.
