Garden Engagement Session at Franklin Park Conservatory

Emma + Robby

I have known Emma since we were both kids because her older sister and I were childhood friends. I actually photographed both her sister’s wedding and her brother’s wedding over the years and she is the last of the Higgins siblings to get married!

Emma and Robby met in downtown Denver at a tavern during the Little People of America Conference and instantly hit it off. After realizing things were pretty serious Emma started chatting with me all about her dream wedding and how I would have to be the one to photograph it! Before she was engaged we were chatting venues, flowers, and inspiration. When she finally sent me the photo of her stunning ring on her finger with the exciting news that they were finally engaged she hit the ground running with all kinds of wedding plans!

She and Robby came to Columbus for a session at the Franklin Park Conservatory in the spring. It was so much fun finally getting to meet Robby and see how genuine and sweet their love is. We wandered through the community gardens and enjoyed the most perfect sunset. It was absolutely magical, but not nearly as magical as I know their wedding day will be.

This weekend I’m off to Denver, Colorado for their nuptials and then shortly after that they will be moving there to make it permanent. I cannot wait to visit Colorado— It’s going to be gorgeous just like they are together!
