Jorgensen Farms Oak Grove was the perfect backdrop for Megan and Tyler’s celebration. From the thoughtful details to the genuine moments shared with their favorite people, every part of the day felt true to them. There was plenty of love and laughter, a packed dance floor that kept the party going all night, and one especially sweet surprise waiting for everyone at the end.

A Meaningful Start to the Day

Megan and Tyler’s wedding day began with getting ready alongside their closest friends and family, with their two dogs happily joining in on the morning’s excitement.

I love when couples find unexpected ways to bring pieces of their story into their wedding day. Inside Tyler’s suit was a custom lining printed with black-and-white photographs from throughout their relationship. It was a detail most guests would never see, but it made the suit feel completely personal to him.

First looks with each other, their parents, and the bridal party were each filled with their own kind of joy. These moments gave Megan and Tyler time to be together and enjoy the people who would be by their side throughout the day.

Then they headed to St Francis of Assisi in Columbus for their ceremony, where they exchanged vows surrounded by their closest friends and family. The ceremony was beautiful and heartfelt, followed by a joyful grand exit that gave everyone a chance to celebrate the newlyweds before heading to Jorgensen Farms Oak Grove.

Cocktail hour at Oak Grove gave everyone a chance to slow down after the ceremony and settle into the evening. Guests mingled throughout the greenhouse and outdoor spaces, with drinks in hand and conversation flowing.

Oak Grove gave Megan and Tyler a beautiful setting for portraits throughout the day. From the greenhouse to the garden paths and greenery around the property, there were plenty of spots to step away for photographs while still keeping them connected to the atmosphere of the evening.

A Dance Floor That Never Slowed Down

By the time the reception was in full swing, the dance floor at Oak Grove was packed. Megan and Tyler were right in the middle of it, surrounded by friends and family who kept the energy going all night.

There is something I love about photographing a full dance floor. The moments become less predictable. Friends pull each other in, family members dance together, and the couple gets swept into the middle of it all. These are often some of my favorite images because they capture more than what the night looked like. They capture what it felt like.

For Megan and Tyler, that feeling was impossible to miss.

Sneakers, Soft Serve & One Last Celebration

As the night went on, Megan and Tyler changed into a more comfortable look, finishing the evening in sneakers. Then came the perfect final touch to a day full of celebration: Little Ladies Soft Serve arrived with ice cream for everyone.

The ice cream truck also gave Megan and Tyler one more fun photo opportunity before the night came to a close. With sneakers on, ice cream in hand, and joyful moments all around, the evening ended on a relaxed and playful note that felt completely true to them.
